Custom Integrations with Home Assistant and MidNite Equipment.

Has anyone successfully created custom integrations with Home Assistant for their MidNite Classic or other MidNite equipment beyond what's available through standard Modbus TCP? I'm particularly interested in pulling more granular data and creating automations based on specific system conditions. I've seen some discussions about using Node-RED, but I'm wondering if there are any more direct approaches or existing custom components available. Any insights or code examples would be greatly appreciated! I'm willing to share my progress if I can get some pointers in the right direction..

Yes Graham made a Home Assistant integration that polls the Classic Modbus directly to HA.
Not sure if he updated his github page or not with that , but I have it running here .
