Rosie failed at midnight with error code 'Battery Charging Configuration Mismatch Detected'.  No changes to the physical battery configuration in 1 year.  Built-in Charger was OFF, charge from Solar unless extended cloudy days.  Only recent change was the MNGP2 production firmware update 25.7.18 done July 28th.  Leading up to this total shutdown, since I did the MNGP2 update, have experienced 3 random intermittent 1 second interruptions of power, always at midnight.  Only way I know about these interruptions were the flashing clock on an appliance or PF (power failure) on a microwave. The Rosie never showed any fault lite for these previous interruptions.  This System failure requires 'press USER' button, which dumps you to the 'Select Chemistry' for the batteries.  Once Lithium is re-selected, dumps you into the Battery Parameter selections.  Haven't gone beyond this yet (bypassed the system at 0230am when I awoke to discover power was out).  Anybody have similar ops?

Battery system is 6 Pytes V5 48v batteries, charged in open loop configuration, monitored via Solar Assistant.  No error messages from the batteries. System has run flawlessly for several months.

Did you do a factory reset after upgrading the mngp2 to 25.7.18?

Hi Brucey, can't say that I did, just don't remember. I attempted to go back one firmware for the MNGP2 yesterday, but the newest and last were the same 25.7.18, so it just reloaded the same one :(  Think I could go back to the Factory firmware, but it's dated 03/09/22, way old.  I did a factory reset on the MNGP2, reloaded all data, then brought the Rosie back online.  The same 'Battery Charging Mismatched' immediately popped up.  I didn't expect this as I had just loaded all new data. So ..., I did a factory reset on the Rosie, reloaded all the data again, and went from there.  I've run it for 24hrs without any load on the inverter.  It's been raining here, so just a little PV input to charge the battery and no further errors.  I'll switch on the loads later today and monitor during daylight before I trust it to operate unattended.  Ryan noted the MNGP2 update was for closed loop battery communication, so it seems that this would have potentially generated the issue, even though I use Open Loop.  Could be a completely separate cause ....., but figured Midnite needs to know there may be a bug in the newer firmware unless they comment with a known cause for this error.
