What is the Logging telling me.

As my climb up the learning curve continues I am continually finding more and more that I need someone's help with. On the logging screen there  is the time stamp on the left and on the left a number of pieces of data and I would like to understand exactly what they are and what they are telling me and how I can use that to my (and my batteries benefit).
1. Stage... Ok I do know what this one is... BLK MPPT, Absorb, Float, Resting
2. Amps Out
3. KwH
4. Power (w)
5. Volts In (v)
6. Voltage Battery... Ok I know this one also.

Curious about the others though... for instance is the amps out. Is that amps the CC is putting out at that moment in time? If so can you sum the amps for the day to see what the total amperage was being sent to the batteries or is it amps DC from the panels only, etc.

Can the efficiency of my panels/system be determined?

Trying to get as much info from the logged data as possible. I will be soon hooked up with the local app. but I still need to understand what it is I am tracking.

Thanx All

These are snap shots for the time stamp for the recent history the points are roughly 5 minutes apart.

2. Amps Out
This is the amperage out of the classic for that small time block
3. KwH
This is the KWH reading of that same time block
4. Power (w)
This is the instantaneous wattage for the same time block
5. Volts In (v)
This is the input voltage for the same time stamp

I just love it when someone asks the same questions I am having but not up to asking about yet!  :o

Ferinstance, I would like to know which registers are being used to determine the values in the gages and status display on the local app?

They don't seem to return the values I expect when I get the data with modpoll?

Tom

Do NOT mistake me for any kind of "expert".

What registers are you trying to grab ??  I believe that modpol may require you to subtract one (-1) from the register
list in our documentation.

There is some new registers but all of the normal voltage and current and power etc. have not changed from that
original document.  Try the -1 thing and see if things make more sense.

That appears to be it. I read that someplace, too and just forgot it, I guess.

Thanks.

It appears that the KwH is cumulative... is that correct?

So if I sum the other values is that the , for instance, the total amperage that went into my batteries that day?
