We have been running a OutBack FM60 and have now retired and replaced with a Classic Lite 200 to run as our charge controller for our Lister 6/1 with a OtherPower alternator. We have the Classic set up on the Legacy mode. My question is can I limit the Classics current input like we could with the OutBack? The old girl is working to hard and we noticed with the FM60 we could throttle the max amp input down to around 30 amps and she purred right along making around 9 kWh's per gallon of diesel.

The Classic has both adjustable INPUT and OUTPUT current limit.  Both adjustments are in the LIMITS
menu under the main CHARGE menu.

Normally the input current limit is set at 99 amps which is "disabled" because that input current should
never go above that current.

In hydro mode, which is similar to legacy mode, it has a minimum input voltage that it will limit to if that helps too.
