On Tuesday I ran both my Roof Air Conditioners for a little over 4 hours (15,000 BTU heat pumps).  ~3000 watt draw.  The Big Rosie didn't even break a sweat.  I had been concerned about how much heat it would produce, but to my surprise the Basement was cool, and so was the Rosie. So far I have only heard the fans when I power up the Rosie, and they are not quiet. So them not running when pulling a fairly decent load for so many hours was not expected.

I was going to insert a picture till I realized the Rosie Cover was upside down in my pic..  oops..

Good to hear your system is working well.  The Rosie fans are variable speed, so they really are quiet for most power production.  When Rosie first starts, the fans run on 'high' for that short burst, so that's as loud as they get.  I regularly run 5kw loads and the fans run on a much lower setting even at that load IF they turn on at all.  You'll notice they run more when the static temperature is high during summer months.

As aaapilot mentions, that initial ramp up to max fans during power on is not representative of regular operational fan noise. I've run close to max (6.5kW) for extended periods with ambient temps at 90F and the fans still don't get anywhere near that loud. They are variable speed.

I am Very happy that the Rosie is putting out very little heat!  I never really knew our inverters output went down considerably till I started researching my replacement options late last year.

I mounted a temperature probe right above the Rosie so the Cerbo can log the temps and alert if they get too high for me.

BTW, did the new firmware help with your genny issues?  My old (2006) QD7500 worked flawlessly when I tested it for a few hours charging them.
