I am testing out the various functions of a newly delivered AIO.  Todays testing is generator/smart load inputs and charging the battery.  The AIO is off grid, no Grid AC connected. Mode is self consumption.  I have it operating supplying about 1.2 KW house loads with some working PV input. Battery bank is about 90% SOC at the moment.  Hooked up 115VAC generator input to generator L1 breaker.  It is not clear how charging would be enabled to the battery.  The smart load interface in the app would appear to need some choices selected but the manual is not clear.  Would appreciate some insight.

Well I think I have partially answered my own question.  Changed work mode to off-grid to match actual conditions.  Made the change in Smart Load to toggle to the Generator choice. AIO is not happy being fed with just one 115V leg on L1 to charge.  Got an abnormal generator voltage alarm.  So genset charging is 220 only?  Don't see that in the docs.

Agreed, I would like to know as well. Have a client with a 120v generator. Still in installation phase but is not mentioned 220v only for gen charging...

Yes as the AIO is built for grid tie as its primary use it requires 120/240v and unlike our Rosie inverter it will not charge from 120V only

A possible solution would be a dedicated chargeverter, or equivalent, no?
