Updating software for updating tool

For updating the AIO we recommend updating over the internet but if for some reason you need to do updates from a laptop you will need the following:

Here are inexpensive tools for programming the Inverter and Batteries, they will need to make cables to program the Batteries via the tools RS232 port.

For the Inverter Programming:
 
The cable connects to the tools TTL port with the yellow wire as ground, the Brown is RX and the Blue is  TX.

Download the attached file and unzip it to your desktop. Please note if the Machine has version one MASTER DSP Version 020200 or lower firmware you must update to V3 then do a 10-minute power down and then you can update to the newer versions

Thanks for this post.   I'm running off grid with the Midnite AIO and couldn't think of a reasonable way to upgrade the firmware without picking up a couple of UPS devices to run my network while the inverter was in standby.   This gives me a better option.

I've ordered the Waveshare device and will give this a go to upgrade from v5 to v6 later this week.

Are there release notes available for the firmware versions that I could read through to understand what fixes/new capabilities we should get out of the update?
